Apologetics and the indoctrinated American atheist

Here’s an interesting article that highlights the indoctrination of American atheists and their belief that atheism = rational, religion = irrational. They view themselves as the “enlightened ones” virtuously trying to save the poor religious believers from their foolishness.

  1. I work in collegiate ministry at a health sciences professional level university. Plenty of folks there are atheists, agnostics, or “nones.” While it is certainly helpful to understand the presuppositions of some in those demographics, it’s much more helpful to plan for how to thoughtfully engage them.
