Arguments for the Existence of God: The Argument of Degree of Perfection

Here is a pretty good article to get you thinking about an often forgotten argument for the existence of God. While I don’t know that I would agree with premise three as it is stated here — God is not the maximum of “all properties” — the argument is, more or less, along these lines. Aquinas limited this argument to those transcendental properties that are common to all things: being, goodness, trueness.
