There are some (many?) Christians who claim philosophy is of the devil, more or less. “I only need the Bible, not man’s philosophy!” The problem with statements like this are abundant, but the most obvious is that they are self-defeating. One wouldn’t know that though, if one hates philosophy.

Good point well made. I studied theology with philosophy and psychology at uni and it was great…I think it enhances the arguments for biblical concepts and religious experience.
